Our Pursuit

Wool & Kindness

It's all in the name

We’re on a pursuit of joy. To help you to find that spark. To be that item in your wardrobe that makes you smile. To help you to look good and feel good, whilst being kind to our planet and most importantly the people in it.

Woolkind was born out of this mission, to not only re-discover our own joy, but to inspire yours.

Our journey began with a vision to create beautifully soft, bespoke knitwear. Made to order, with care for people, animals and the planet. Woollens that are in essence kind, hence the name.

Knit's in our blood

We're both proud descendants of Scottish hand knitters. Craftsmanship and heritage is important to us, as is taking joy and pride in our work and the materials we use.

Our Process

Let's wool the world

All of the wool that we use is 100% traceable superfine (and soft) merino wool (no sneaky synthetics added in here), and our products are all made and designed in Edinburgh with an ethical supply chain.

Our wool

Feel seen and shine

Your knitwear should reflect you, bright and colour clashing, or subtle soft tones.

What you wear should let your identity shine, which is why we do things a little differently at Woolkind… bespoke designs and colours just for you.

How it works

You pick, then we knit

There's no mass production with us - everything is made to order. Our priority is quality over quantity. This is slow, thoughtful knitwear. We believe clothing should be for life, not just a season.

Conscious consumption

Our planet needs us to select our materials carefully, and then use them sparingly.

All our processes must ultimately produce no waste.

We will continue to research, and pursue ongoing improvements with these simple aims.

Clothing for every body

We hope for a fashion industry where all brands celebrate diversity, and where no one is judged for their skin colour, gender, sexuality, ability, appearance, or demeanour, where marginalised people can feel not only seen and heard, but also see themselves reflected within brands.
